What this policy covers

Today, iService is a pro-first waitlist. People across Nigeria can join so we can tell them when iService opens near them.

Joining the waitlist does not create an iService account, reserve a professional, or start a booking. When the app launches, in-app notices and this policy will be updated for accounts, bookings, payments, and chat.

What we collect on the waitlist

The waitlist form may store:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Whether you joined as a customer, a professional, or both (the current landing form signs professionals up)
• The service you named, such as Plumber or Hair Styling
• Your city or area, such as Abuja, Port Harcourt, or Ikeja
• Whether you asked for WhatsApp updates
• A referral code, if you arrived from an invite link
• A source tag for how you found the page
• Technical details needed to run the site, such as your IP address for rate limiting

We do not ask for payment details, government ID, or your home address on the waitlist.

Why we use it

We use waitlist details to:

• Tell you when iService opens in your area
• See which services and neighbourhoods are ready
• Understand which invites brought people to the list
• Protect the form from spam and abuse
• Answer deletion or support requests you send us

We do not sell the waitlist. We do not use it to invent public user counts or to post your name as social proof.

Legal basis

For people in Nigeria we follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. We process waitlist details because you asked to be notified about launch, and because we need a limited record to run that list fairly.

If iService later opens in the EU, UK, or US, we will add the extra notices those laws require before collecting data from those users.

Who can see it

MEAY LLC uses this information to run iService. A small number of operators and service providers that host the site or store the list may process it on our behalf.

A referral code only identifies the invite. It is not a public profile. We do not share waitlist details with other professionals or customers, and we do not sell them to advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you ask us to delete them, or until they are no longer needed to contact you about launch.

If you later have an iService account, bookings, or payments, we will keep financial and ledger records for as long as the law requires, even after an account is deleted. Profile details and media can be removed or anonymised. Active bookings are cancelled under the cancellation policy then in force.

Your rights

Email hello@iservicepro.app to:

• Ask what we hold about you
• Correct a name, email, phone number, service, or area
• Delete your waitlist details (use the subject “Delete my waitlist details” from the email you used to join)
• Download a copy of your waitlist record

Until the app is open, there is no in-app delete button. Use email, or the Delete account page on this site.

Cookies and analytics

The waitlist site is a simple marketing and signup page. We do not run advertising cookies. If we later add analytics or error tracking, we will strip payment details, one-time codes, and precise addresses from those logs.

Children

iService is for adults who can book or offer local services. Do not join the waitlist if you are under 18.

When the app opens

The product is designed so that, after launch, we will also handle account details and photos, saved addresses, chat and reviews, and payments through a third-party gateway. Card data stays with the gateway.

Before a booking is paid, a professional should see area and distance, not a full street address. Full address and gate notes unlock after confirmation. Phone numbers are not shown on public profiles. Those rules apply only when the app is live.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above. If you are already on the waitlist, we may also email you.
